You're Not an Imitation

Beloved, God did not make imitations (or copies) of the Lord Jesus Christ when He created the new humanity; He made the believer into the Original, into the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. We were created IN Him. (see Ephesians 2:10). There is one Body and one Spirit. (see Ephesians 4:4). We share one Body and one Spirit with the Lord Jesus Christ. We are members of His body, of His bone, and of His flesh. (see Ephesians 5:30). And we are joined as one with Him in Spirit. (see 1 Corinthians 6:17). So the believer is one with the Lord Jesus Christ. Of His fullness we have all received. (see John 1:16). We are complete in Him. (see Colossians 2:9-10). As He is, so are we in this world. (see 1 John 4:17). We have His life, His nature, His power, His glory. (see 1 John 5:11-13; Ephesians 4:24; 2 Peter 1:4; Ephesians 1:19-20; Acts 1:8; John 17:20; Colossians 1:27). We are kings. (Luke 22:29; Revelation 1:5-6). We are seated in Christ and with Christ on His throne (see Ephesians 2:4-6); and we are to reign in life. (see Romans 5:17). This is the consciousness we must have. Jesus is the Head, and we are His Body. (see Colossians 1:18). We share one Spirit and one Body with the Lord Jesus Christ indeed. (see 1 Corinthians 6:15, 17). His victory is our victory. His authority is our authority. Christianity is no child's play, my friends; it is God's ultimate project. In Christ, the believer becomes one with God. Glory to God! Don't settle for a dead Christ; reach for the resurrected, glorified, living Christ who has the keys of hell and of death. He is the triumphant One. In Him is the victory. You are in Him, and He is in you.

Never say, "Lord I can't do it but You can." That is not a mark of humility, as some people wrongly think it is; that is distancing yourself from Him, it is a denial  of your oneness with Him, and a sign of weakness, a sign of unbelief. You are joined as one with Him in Spirit and in Body. So the consciousness you should rather have is, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (see Philippians 4:13). Indeed, it is not by human might, nor by human power, but by the Spirit of God. (see Zechariah 4:6). But where is the Spirit of God? He is in you, my dear believer; you are joined as one with Him. And so He is your strength; His power works in you mightily. Paul said he was striving according to “His working which works in me mightily.” (see Colossians 1:29). It is God who works IN YOU both to will and to do for His good pleasure. (see Philippians 2:13). And so the Bible says God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to THE POWER THAT WORKS IN YOU. (see Ephesians 3:20). Don't be afraid to face any circumstance head-on and command changes, because God's power works in you. Be strong and courageous, for you are a king, and where the Word of a King is, there is power. (see Ecclesiastes 8:4). You shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto you; and the light will shine upon your ways. (see Job 22:28).

Indeed, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE to the one who believes. The one who believes is made strong even in weakness. Therefore, a true Christian cannot be anything less than an optimist, expectant that all things will work together for his good. (see Romans 8:28). Remain blessed.
