Jesus Christ was not crucified secretly; He was crucified publicly. So we do not preach Him secretly either; we preach Him publicly; and those who will receive the gospel will also have to confess Jesus publicly as their Lord and Savior. Jesus said, “Therefore whoever confesses Me BEFORE MEN, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me BEFORE MEN, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:33 NKJV). You cannot be a quiet or secret Christian. Let us hold fast our confession. Let us follow the example of the early disciples. When Jesus sent them out, He said, “Whatever I tell you in the dark, SPEAK IN THE LIGHT; and what you hear in the ear, PREACH ON THE HOUSETOPS." (Matthew 10:27 NKJV). And thus in this manner, all the disciples conducted their ministry.
Also, in the Acts of the Apostles we read that Philip, passing through Azotus, PREACHED IN ALL THE CITIES till he came to Caesarea" (Acts 8:40 NKJV). The apostle Paul likewise preached the gospel publicly to the people of Ephesus, and to those who believed, he said, "I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you PUBLICLY and FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE" (see Acts 20:20 NKJV). Today I also preach the gospel publicly, for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. The Bible says, "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9). Glory to God! #PreachTheGospel #shareTheWord
